About me

I’ve always loved to design! I majored in Fine Arts at the University of Colorado and spent over 25 years in New York City as a designer/editor serving the advertising industry. I live in a lovely wooded area of Northern New Jersey with my husband and beautiful stepdaughter (who is now a college girl!) and we enjoy golf and gardening.

Since opening my decorating business in 2004, I’ve been honored to receive numerous awards, including 3 wins in the international Dream Room design competition – judged by editors of national shelter magazines such as House Beautiful and Traditional Home.

My design of a Mahwah NJ Family Room was featured in Arabella Magazine, one of my window treatment designs appeared in the book The Complete Photo Guide to Window Treatments by Linda Neubauer and one of my living room designs appeared in the book Love Your Home by Carol Donayre Bugg. A whole house Tuscan makeover was featured as the lead story in The Record Home section. One of our Upper Saddle River bedroom designs was recently featured in an article in 201 Home Magazine, and I was interviewed and quoted in a story about lighting in interior decorating in The Record. Recently, I was featured in Bergen County’s Why work with an interior decorator.

I have been honored with the Best of Houzz Award for service and client satisfaction in both 2014 and 2015, as well as 2016, 2017, and 2018 for Design and Service. I’m also proud to be a member of Decorating Den Interiors’ President’s and Premier Clubs and to have received the coveted Directors’ Award, Eagle Award, Pinnacle Award and Rising Star Award for business achievements. I was also awarded first place in the window treatment category in the 2015 Dream Room international design competition.

My work has been featured in The Art of the Window: Drapery Solutions for Difficult Types and Shapes on Houzz.

I regularly attend High Point Furniture Market, which is the largest home furnishing show in the world. This allows me to see and feel new home furnishings, and keep up to date with the latest styles and trends.
